Start with people
Understand the context, the needs and the experience behind the process.
People, processes & possibility
I’m Hannah Graham — a digital professional bringing business analysis, systems thinking and user research together to make services and ideas work better.
Explore my experience01 / A little about me
I’m interested in what makes things work — and what gets in the way when they don’t.
My background in Business Analysis and Business Analytics has shaped how I approach problems: understand the people involved, look closely at the systems around them, and bring clarity to what feels scattered or overwhelming.
I’ve worked across digital platforms, automation and process improvement, with experience that connects public-sector services, cloud and data work, and user-focused solutions.
Today, I’m a Digital User Researcher at the Ministry of Justice UK, continuing to build on that analytical foundation through a closer understanding of people and their needs.
Understand the context, the needs and the experience behind the process.
Look at how information, decisions and processes connect — and where they break down.
Turn understanding into clear next steps that people can actually use.
02 / Experience & perspective
A foundation in analysis, a growing practice in research, and an interest in making digital services work better. Select an area to explore.
Understanding the problem. Bringing structure to the solution.
My analytical background helps me examine how systems and processes work, where inefficiencies emerge, and what people need to move forward. I bring that perspective to digital platforms, process improvements and the practical shaping of ideas.
Connecting processes, information and everyday usability.
My experience includes cloud and data migration work, digital platforms, automation and user-focused solutions. I’m particularly interested in the structure behind a service: how information moves, how work is organised, and how the experience can become simpler.
Listening closely. Understanding needs in context.
As a Digital User Researcher at the Ministry of Justice UK, I’m developing my research practice alongside my existing analytical skills. My interests include user needs, research evidence, knowledge operations and the way insights inform service decisions.
03 / How I think
Whether I’m exploring a service challenge or shaping an idea, I return to the same questions: What’s happening? What matters? What should happen next?
Listen, ask questions and understand the people, context and problem.
Find the relationships between needs, information and processes.
Make the problem clearer, surface assumptions and organise the options.
Choose a practical next step, learn from the evidence and refine.
Ideas rarely fail on their own.
They fail when there is no clear
structure to support them.

04 / Ideas & community
Alongside my professional development, I’m interested in how people turn knowledge, connections and experience into something useful.

Explore the Evolve forum (opens in a new tab)My wider community involvement includes university outreach and serving as Digital Lead for the Black Heritage Network — bringing the same interest in access, communication and connection.
05 / Keep the conversation going
Interested in business analysis, user research, better digital services or community-led ideas? I welcome thoughtful conversations and shared perspectives.
